Why Fundamentals Matter

What is The Blueprint?

As AI accelerates and competition gets denser, the people who win are the ones with strong fundamentals. These workshops teach the things that stay true regardless of what platforms evolve, what tools emerge, or what trends fade.

Built from Experience

Not recycled theory. Every workshop comes from real conversations, real projects, and real mistakes made over five years of freelancing and community building.

Made for Pakistan

The advice here accounts for local realities: payment infrastructure, job markets, cultural context, and the unique challenges Pakistani professionals face every day.

A Connected Series

Each workshop builds on the last. Start from wherever you are in your career and follow the path forward. Career, freelancing, agency, or all three.

Questions

Frequently Asked

What is The Blueprint?+
A series of 21 career and freelancing workshops created by Saqib Tahir and run inside The Wandering Pro Discord server. Each covers a specific topic in depth, from niching down and building portfolios to managing milestones and starting an agency. All content is accessible on the website with accompanying YouTube videos.
Who is The Blueprint for?+
Anyone at any stage of their career. University students figuring out first steps, professionals considering freelancing, active freelancers trying to grow, or anyone thinking about starting an agency. The workshops are organized by career stage so you can start wherever you are.
Do I need to watch them in order?+
Not necessarily. Each workshop is self-contained. However, they were designed to build on each other, and many reference earlier ones. Going in order within your relevant category gives you the most connected understanding.
Is there a cost to access these?+
No. All Blueprint workshops are accessible on the website and YouTube. If the content helps you, consider supporting the work so we can keep building more.
Are these relevant outside of Pakistan?+
The fundamentals apply everywhere. The examples and context are grounded in the Pakistani experience because that’s the audience most underserved by existing content. If you’re in a similar developing market, almost everything transfers directly.
What’s the difference between the articles and YouTube videos?+
The written articles are enhanced, rewritten versions of the workshop content. They’re not transcripts. Each has been restructured for clarity, updated with current information, and expanded where needed. The YouTube videos are the original workshop recordings. Use whichever format works best for you.
I’m a complete beginner. Where should I start?+
Start with the “Starting Out” category. Shining Under The Sun covers niching down, and Learning How To Learn covers skill acquisition. From there, move into Soft Skills and Horizontal vs Vertical Growth.
I’m already freelancing. Which are most useful?+
Start with Feast and Famine Cycles for financial stability, then Managing Milestones for pricing strategy, and Marketing Yourself for growing beyond platforms.
I want to start an agency. Where do I begin?+
Basics of Starting an Agency covers prerequisites, income benchmarks, and three agency models. But also read The Freelancing IC Path first, because many people who think they need an agency actually need to specialize deeper as a solo operator.
What is the Freelancing IC path?+
FLIC stands for Freelancing Individual Contributor. It’s an alternative to the agency route where you grow by deepening your specialization and charging premium rates as a solo operator. No team. No overhead. The full workshop explains the transition.
How are these different from online courses?+
These aren’t courses. No modules, no certificates, no upsells. They’re workshop-style sessions originally run live in Discord where people could ask questions and participate. The written versions are practical guides you can read and apply immediately.
Can I join the live workshops?+
Yes. Live workshops happen inside the TWP Discord server. Members get access to live sessions, Q&A, and discussions. Recordings are published on YouTube and the website afterward.
