From New Member
to Paying Member
SalesGenie is a Discord CRM that personally onboards every new member, answers their questions, and guides them toward your paid membership or product through 1-on-1 conversations. Built by Haroon Shahid with coaching from Wander Labs, and now on the road to $10k MRR.
The Impact So Far
Real numbers from real clients, plus the growth curve SalesGenie is riding right now. This is what 9 months of building in the open looks like.
Client totals confirmed by SalesGenie, October 2026. MRR growth is SalesGenie’s own revenue, from TrustMRR, verified via Whop. Checkout conversion is the best result across clients.

Discord Communities Have a Conversion Problem
Paid Discord communities are leaking money. Every month, hundreds of new members join servers across crypto, trading, coaching, and reselling niches. They click the invite link, land in the server, maybe read an announcement or two, and then disappear. They never engage. They never upgrade. They never understand what the community actually offers.
Pokemon RestockR is a good example. With 40,000+ members and hundreds of new ones every week, newcomers got confused, asked the same questions in public chat, missed important resources, and never fully understood the value of the premium membership. These weren’t bad leads. They clicked through and joined. Somewhere between joining and understanding the value, they got lost.
The root cause is a personalization gap. When someone joins a Discord server, they land in a sea of channels, pinned messages, and announcements. None of it speaks to them directly. The welcome message is generic. The FAQ assumes they know what questions to ask. The paid tier is mentioned somewhere, but nobody explains why it’s worth it for their specific situation.
Community owners know this. The smart ones try to fix it by personally DMing new members, asking what brought them here, answering questions, and guiding them toward the paid offer. It works. Personal touch converts. But it doesn’t scale. A community owner with a hundred new members per month cannot have a hundred individual conversations, and hiring humans to do it consistently gets expensive.
Every member who isn’t ready to buy stays in the pipeline, email collected, follow-up scheduled.
Why Existing Discord Tools Don’t Convert
The Discord bot ecosystem is mature. There are bots for moderation, bots for ticketing, bots for role management, bots for analytics. None of them solve the conversion problem.
The gap is clear: no tool combines conversational AI, Discord-native integration, lead nurturing logic, and a live dashboard purpose-built for paid communities. Community owners either do it manually, hire humans, or accept the loss.
“Every community I managed had the same problem. Members would join, get lost in the noise, and leave before anyone could talk to them. The ones that grew fastest were the ones where someone personally welcomed every new member. I just needed to make that scale.”
A Discord CRM That Onboards Every Member
SalesGenie flips the model. Instead of waiting for new members to figure things out on their own, it opens a private 1-on-1 conversation the moment someone joins. Think of it as a dedicated community helper, running at the scale of your whole server.
It asks what brought them in, listens, asks follow-up questions, handles objections, and explains how the paid tier fits their situation. Members who aren’t ready get a free resource in exchange for their email, and the bot follows up on the date they choose.
Everything flows into a dashboard where community owners see exactly who joined, what they’re interested in, where they are in the buying journey, and what’s working.

What SalesGenie’s Discord Sales Bot Does
1-on-1 Onboarding
Every new member gets a private conversation the moment they join. It welcomes them, finds out why they came, and guides them to the right offer.
Smart Qualification
It asks the right questions to separate serious buyers from browsers, and handles objections with human-style logic.
Smart Follow-Up System
Waiting on next month’s salary? SalesGenie schedules a follow-up on the date they promised, so no warm lead is ever lost.
Win-Back DMs
Members who cancel or let their membership lapse get a personal DM that brings them back to the offer.
Retargeting
Members who showed interest but never bought get re-engaged later with the offer that fits them.
Custom Workflows
Shape the conversation around your own offers, questions, and checkout steps, for a membership or a one-off product.
Lead Magnet to Email List
Not ready to buy? The bot offers a free resource in exchange for an email and saves the lead for nurturing.
Live Dashboard
Members, qualified buyers, conversations, follow-ups, and emails in one view, running 24/7 and set up in about 10 minutes.
It plugs into the checkout a community already uses: Whop, Gumroad, Stripe checkout links, LaunchPass, and custom checkout pages, and it now sells paid products as well as memberships. Plans start at $97/month.

Case Study: Pokemon RestockR
The clearest proof so far is Pokemon RestockR, a Pokemon collecting community with 40,000+ members and a free plus paid membership model. Every week, hundreds of new members joined, and the manual onboarding that used to convert them could not keep up with the growth.
Doing it by hand, the team converted around 15% of the members they reached. With SalesGenie running the conversations, checkout conversion hit 31%, more than double, on autopilot.
In 35 days: 104 paying members, 3,600+ guided users, and 344 qualified buyers sitting in the CRM, with zero extra hours from the Pokemon RestockR team. Read the full case study on salesgenie.bot →

From Community Ops to Product Builder
SalesGenie wasn’t built by a SaaS company looking for a market opportunity. It was built by someone who lived the problem every day.
Haroon ran a Discord community management service. He and his team managed servers for clients across crypto, trading, and coaching niches, handling onboarding, engagement, and member support. The same pattern showed up everywhere: members joined, got lost in the noise, and left before anyone could talk to them. The communities that grew fastest were the ones where someone took time to personally welcome new members and guide them. But that took hours of manual work.
He tried existing tools. Ticket bots could open threads but couldn’t hold conversations. Analytics bots could show who joined but couldn’t tell you why they left. CRMs built for email marketing had no idea what to do with Discord data. Nothing fit.
If no tool existed to solve this properly, he’d build it himself. He brought in Zuhaz as a technical co-founder and started building. The first version was rough, a basic bot that could open tickets and ask questions, with responses flowing into a simple dashboard. They tested it internally, found dozens of bugs, rebuilt the conversation flows, and iterated constantly.
Through Wander Labs coaching, the project found discipline. Bi-weekly coaching calls forced decisions: launch with what you have instead of waiting for what you wish you had. Features that seemed essential, like niche-based question customization, got scoped down to avoid over-engineering. The consistent message: get real users before perfecting the product. Under the hood, the hardest part was making an AI conversation feel human inside Discord’s limits.
A bot that converts is a sales tool first and a technical achievement second. Building the product was only half the work. Outreach scripts, a landing page, demo videos, case studies, and a sales process taught the go-to-market skills that pure development projects never touch.
Where it stands now: 25 paid communities served with 500,000+ combined members, 800+ members converted for clients, a published case study with real conversion numbers, and its own MRR up 175% in 30 days, on the road to $10k MRR. What started as an internal fix is a working SaaS, built in the open through Wander Labs. Here is the path from idea to revenue.
Haroon and co-founder Zuhaz start building a Discord-native conversion tool, born from years of running paid communities themselves.
Scope cut hard, a 2 week deadline to first deployment, and the “closer tool” reframed into a conversion funnel admins actually understand.
The bot, dashboard, and onboarding flow go live, and the first servers come on board for real testing and data.
The conversation engine is rebuilt to run faster and leaner, and focus shifts to content and awareness over cold outreach.
Selling moves to value-first audits and calls over chat, with defensibility built on process and brand as much as features.
SalesGenie starts publishing guides for paid community owners on its own blog.
25 paid communities served and 800+ members converted for clients. Win-Back DMs, retargeting, and custom workflows have shipped, SalesGenie now sells paid products too, and its own MRR is up 175% in 30 days.
Why SalesGenie Matters
From a commercial perspective, SalesGenie targets a real problem with a clear buyer. Paid Discord communities are a growing market, and their owners understand conversion because every lost member is lost revenue. The pricing is simple: $97 and $247 monthly plans, with custom plans for larger servers.
From a learning perspective, it forced the team through product, engineering, and business problems at once: making AI conversations feel natural at scale, deciding what to build and what to cut, and running go-to-market from scratch, from positioning and pricing to outreach and case studies.
That combination is why SalesGenie is the flagship Wander Labs Quest: a business built in the open, with the receipts to prove it.
What Community Owners Say
Public reviews from servers running SalesGenie.
“Hundreds of members were joining and either leaving or ghosting our community. Now the bot talks to them instantly 1on1 when they join. Before this, users were opening support tickets all the time. Now most of their questions get answered automatically before they even need to make a ticket. Highly recommended!”
“Sales Genie has been amazing product and the team is amazing to work with. Super responsive team and able to make adjustments to fine tune the bot to have seamless conversations with users and pitch them on our premium options. 10/10”
“Sales Genie has honestly made getting new customers way easier. It takes a lot of the work off my plate. Definitely worth it in my opinion.”
“Metrics are super super nice.”

“I have coached 50+ builders through The Wandering Pro, and Haroon has been the biggest success of them all. He is building a real product from Pakistan, the thing most of us talk about and very few actually do. He did it the unglamorous way: outreach, follow-ups, and hours in the voice channels. I log 200+ live hours a month in our server. Nobody outside my own team has come close, except Haroon, sitting 5 hours at a stretch in the workspace with me. The results speak for themselves. So the next time someone says you can’t make it work sitting in Pakistan, send them this page.”
