Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.

Most communities optimize for noise: more members, more messages, more activity that goes nowhere. We optimize for what you actually build. This is a doing community, not a learning one.

If you are a builder shipping a product, a freelancer figuring out clients, or someone early in their career trying to get real, you are in the right place. Show up, do the work, and there are people here ahead of you who will tell you what needs fixing.

Built for People Who Build

Builders shipping a product

You have an idea and you want to actually ship it. Get a project space, mentorship, and the accountability to finish, whether that is a SaaS, an app, or an open-source tool.

Freelancers figuring it out

Finding clients, pricing, getting paid, surviving feast and famine. Real tactics for the Pakistani freelancer reality, not recycled Western advice.

Early-career professionals

Students, graduates, and career switchers who need hands-on experience, real guidance, and a network to launch a career in tech.

Anyone serious about the work

If you want to be around people who do rather than talk, and you are willing to show up and put in the effort, this is your place.

Community Voices

Words From Wanderers

Real stories from real people who’ve transformed their careers and lives through our community

It struck me because I had never heard of a community that would encourage youths like us to be consistent with our work. But this community was different because the people behind it are actually working on building something meaningful. It was the gentle push I didn’t know I needed.

The co-working/building-together vibe drew me in. One thing I’m really proud of is how much the community works together toward a common goal. You could be writing a blog while someone else is building a microcontroller, all in the same group.

This isn’t just a community, it’s a training ground to become better. I used to struggle with consistency and I didn’t have a formal place to share my progress. This community provided me with that platform to fix both these problems.

I wanted to learn from people who’ve been through the same journey. The monthly challenges helped me make real progress. I’m proud of all the useful advice I’ve gotten, whether it’s about talking to clients or planning my career. I feel like I’m growing every day.

The guidance and workshops by Saqib Tahir have helped me see certain aspects of my work life from a completely different perspective. I developed the habit of writing technical writeups. This has helped me showcase my work.

The monthly challenge kept me consistent and I was able to not only prepare for the HackTheBox Certified Penetration Testing Specialist exam, but also passed it. A friendly environment that helps you push yourself towards your goals.

Since joining, it’s helped me stay focused, take consistent action, and build a successful freelancing career. I grew my Upwork profile and landed clients, something that felt out of reach before. One of the few communities where people actually show up.

A really great place and people are very helpful. I have learnt a lot about business and strategies that helped me move forward. So many resources about how to optimize your business and build a system that will help your growth.

Despite being in the cybersecurity field for two years, this was the first time I felt like I was learning deeply and consistently, without burning out or losing motivation. I’d recommend this space to anyone looking to push themselves and grow.

The server has provided me with lots of growth opportunities, giving me chances to interact with seniors to learn about what many people in my current state lack. The 30 day challenges gave me a great opportunity to develop my consistency.

I got the ability to stick to a single goal for a decent amount of time. I would recommend this community to someone who is struggling with lack of dedication and discipline because the people of this community can make you a disciplined person.

I found this community through Saqib. I have been a better designer and worked on some awesome projects. This server is for everyone who wants to do cool things in their life. Cause why not?

Before joining, I had a pattern of starting something, losing interest, taking a break, and jumping to something entirely different. The challenge gave me a sense of accountability. Seeing others commit made me feel responsible for following through.

There’s so much knowledge being shared, and it’s great to hear real experiences from people who’ve been through it. The 30-day challenge helped me a lot. I’d recommend this space to anyone who feels stuck in a cycle of trying to upskill but not getting anywhere.

I’ve gained a solid understanding of project management, client communication, defining scope and requirements, and confidently discussing details on client calls. This community is full of people willing to help and mentor you.

The 30 Day challenge helped me in showing my work instead of working in a silo like I used to. Through TWP, I found friends that cheered when most around me were quiet. All the while having fun learning and sharing things I enjoy.

Questions

Discord Server FAQs

Who is the server for?
Builders, developers, designers, product people, and freelancers who are serious about tech, career, and business. Whether you are early in your career, in university, or an established professional, you are welcome as long as you follow the server rules.
Is this only for Pakistani people?
Anyone from anywhere can join. The majority of folks are from Pakistan and the wider desi region, so it is especially relevant if you are navigating tech, career, and business with similar realities, but builders from everywhere are welcome.
How do I join and get started?
Join using this link: thewanderingpro.com/dis. Once you are in and through onboarding, post a short introduction so people know who you are and what you are working on.
I’m new to Discord. Can you help?
Yes. Watch our short intro guide on YouTube, it covers the basics. And if you get stuck, email admin@sknexus.com.
How do I make a good introduction?
A good intro shows you are serious about being here. Share your name (optional), a couple of lines about your work or studies, what you are passionate about, and what you are hoping to get out of the server.
What kinds of channels are there?
Three flavours: topical rooms for serious discussion (career, freelancing, business, dev), everyday rooms for fun (gaming, tech, movies, books, health), and voice channels for co-working and hanging out.
Are there regular events or workshops?
Yes. We run weekly workshops on career, freelancing, business, and building. As the community grows, the agenda keeps getting sharper.
Can I get feedback on my product idea?
Absolutely. Share it in the relevant channels and be specific about the feedback you want: concept, design, or market fit. The more precise the ask, the better the answers.
Can I build a product from scratch here?
Yes. If you want to build something from zero, we can assign you a dedicated thread where you show progress and get feedback as you go. That is the heart of Wander Labs.
How do I validate an idea before building?
Bring it to the mentorship and feedback channels. Members can point you at market research, user interviews, and prototyping approaches to sharpen it before you write a line of code.
What’s here for learning to build?
Members share articles, tutorials, and tools across the dev and product channels, and you can ask experienced builders directly. The workshops and Wander Labs go deeper when you are ready.
Can I collaborate with other members?
Yes, the server encourages it. Post in the project channels to find collaborators. Pro tip: warm up by engaging with others before you make an ask.
How do I find a mentor?
Engage actively, share your goals, and say you are after mentorship. You can reach out to experienced members directly, and seniors run mentorship workshops on an as-needed basis.
Can this help me get a job?
Not directly, it is not a job board. But we talk career and freelancing constantly, opportunities pass through, and getting genuinely better at your craft is what opens doors over time.
How do I ask good questions?
Do a little research first, then ask questions that invite perspective rather than a simple yes or no. Good questions get good answers and respect everyone’s time.
I’m having trouble with Discord. Where can I get help?
Email admin@sknexus.com and we will sort you out.
